EUGENE D. SELIGMANN, Partner

Gene Seligmann founded the partnership of Seligmann Beckerman and Flaherty, PLLC in 1972. For over 30 years, Mr. Seligmann has successfully represented individuals and small businesses by applying common sense solutions to legal issues and disputes.

Mr. Seligmann’s practice focuses on issues facing small businesses and partnerships, such as real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate, as well as estate and succession disputes. Mr. Seligmann has substantial experience in resolving disputes through the alternative dispute resolution process and is a trained and experienced mediator in cases relating to partnership and marital dissolutions and estate disputes.

He is admitted to practice in all the courts of Washington, the 9th Circuit Federal Courts of Appeals, and the Federal District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Mr. Seligmann is a Member of the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. He is a past Trustee of the King County Bar Foundation and has served as its Treasurer. Mr. Seligmann is also a past Trustee of the King County Bar Association. He has earned the highest rating, AV, by Martindale-Hubbell.


Education & Credentials

Mr. Seligmann graduated from the Lakeside School, Seattle, Washington, received his B.A. degree from the University of Washington in 1969 and obtained his J.D. degree from the University of Washington Law School in 1972.
